This activity is accredited by the Office for Continuing Professional Development, School of Medicine, McGill University, which is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Education (CACME) of which the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) is a partner.

MAINPRO+ FOR FAMILY PHYSICIANS

This activity meets the certification criteria of the Quebec College of Family Physicians, a continuing professional development accrediting organization recognized by the Collège des médecins du Québec and has been approved for up to 22.5 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits.
Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians are eligible to receive up to 22.5 prescribed credit hours for attendance at this meeting/event due to a reciprocal agreement with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

RCPSC MOC CREDITS FOR PEDIATRICIANS AND OTHER SPECIALIST PHYSICIANS

This Group Learning program meets the accreditation criteria as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been approved for up to 22.5 MOC Section 1 credits/hours.
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications

February 11 PPP: up to 7.5 credits
February 12 PPP: up to 6 credits
February 13 Specialty Day: up to 6 credits
TOTAL CREDITS: up to 19.5 including quizzes

Credits for on-demand learning
Feb 23 to May 23

TOTAL CREDITS: up to 22.5 including quizzes (A person who attended from February 11 to 13 can claim 19.5 hours + 3 additional credits by watching the 3 workshops they were unable to attend or view durign the live dates (as it is only possible to attend 3 out of the 6 workshops).)

CERTIFICATE AND EVALUATION

This year, there is only ONE CERTIFICATE for all learning formats of the PPP and the Specialty Day.

How to claim your certificate:
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE BY MAY 23 AT 23:59 EST.
Here are the steps to follow to download your certificate.

  • STEP 1: Complete the “Evaluation for Presenters” for each lecture you attended live or watched in the asynchronous course.
  • STEP 2: Complete the “Global Course Evaluation” at the end of the Conference or when you are done learning on-demand.
  • STEP 3: Upon completion of step 2, the Certificate will become available for downloading in your profile (see at the top of the left banner in the event app). Click the button to generate the PDF certificate. We recommend that you save the certificate to your device.
Participants should keep their CME certificate for a minimum of six years in case they are selected for a random audit. The same certificate can be used as proof in case the participant is applying for a RAMQ reimbursement.
